Companies House documents showed Sprint Plumbing Scotland Limited, was the subject of a court winding up order lodged by HMRC at Dumbarton Sheriff Court.
The public record also shows Scott Bastick, of Edinburgh-based Middlebrooks Business Recovery & Advice, was appointed of the firm involved in the business of “plumbing, heat and air-conditioning installation”.
The firm employed three people at the time of most recent accounts in 2024.

HMRC said it does not comment on individual cases but added: “We take a supportive approach to dealing with customers who have tax debts and only file winding-up petitions once we’ve exhausted all other options, in order to protect taxpayers’ money.”
