A major European hotel operator has filed for insolvency proceedings, sparking concerns about what lies ahead for its properties throughout Europe.
Revo Hospitality Group, formerly HR Group, was established in 2008 and is Europe’s biggest white-label hotel operator – a third-party management company that operates hotels on behalf of owners without featuring its own branding.
The firm oversees more than 260 hotels across 12 European countries and 146 cities. The collection includes many hotels running under prominent franchise names like Hilton and ibis Styles, as well as its own brands, including Hyperion.
