Microsoft Russian branch declared bankrupt

The Moscow Arbitrage Court has recognised the company Microsoft Rus, the Russian subsidiary of Microsoft, as bankrupt, reports RBC. The legal process was initiated by Microsoft. The debt of Microsoft Rus totaled RUB 1.54 billion. Microsoft still owns three affiliated companies in the country, but stopped its activities there in March 2022 following the invasion of Ukraine.
