Miquita Oliver has opened up about feeling “ashamed” when she was declared bankrupt in her late 20s.
The TV star was 28 when she was forced to move back home with her mum in 2011 after a 170,000 unpaid tax bill.
Speaking, now aged 38, to The Sunday Times’ magazine, the broadcaster recalled how she had been “running wild” as her presenting career flourished.
She said: “What goes up must come down, though, and after having the most incredible time, one day I was declared bankrupt and had to move into my mums spare bedroom.
