Namu Group’s Honeymoon Ave goes into liquidation after five months

The “new-aged matcha bar” on Ponsonby Rd is part of Auckland-based hospitality leader Namu Group, which operates several eateries, including Tobi, Dweji and The Candy Shop. 

The bar has yet to announce its closure
on its social media or website at the time of publishing, and the storefront was closed when BusinessDesk visited it on Tuesday.

Closures

The liquidation of Honeymoon Ave follows the closure of two other Namu Group restaurants last month, Gemmi and Gochu, and the departure of the group’s director and founder, David Lee.
