Bench took decision after banks from whom the ex-IAS officer took loan objected to the plea
The Ahmedabad bench of National Company Law Tribunal has rejected a petition filed by former IAS officer Sanjay Gupta to put up one of his group companies in liquidation under the bankruptcy law. The bench took the decision after the banks from where the company had taken the loans objected to the plea on the grounds that they already have started the procedure to recover the debt.
Gupta, claiming himself to be the authorised signatory, on behalf of M/s Neesa Infrastructure Limited, filed the Petition under Section 10 of The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
