Paul James Ellis of North Star (York) Ltd was for a time a major driving force behind significant projects in York and North Yorkshire through a company known as North Star and related entities.
Case details listed on the Individual Insolvency Register say the 47-year-old became subject of a bankruptcy order in November 2025 from the High Court of Justice.
Paul James Ellis gave the court an address in London, and the order led him to resign his remaining directorships on the day and in the following weeks.
