Latest monthly statistics from the Insolvency Service show that in March 2025, personal insolvencies declined while business insolvencies increased in Northern Ireland.
The data showed that there were 134 personal insolvencies in, which was 9% higher than in March 2024. The insolvencies consisted of/ 102 IVAs, 18 bankruptcies and 14 DROs.
Business insolvency data shows that there were 29 business insolvencies registered in Northern Ireland, 12% higher than in March 2024.
The company insolvencies comprised of nine compulsory liquidations, 12 CVLs, two CVAs and six administrations. There were no receivership appointments.
