PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – More than 50 nonprofits in Oregon are searching for answers after a San Francisco tech company that helped them with fundraising went bankrupt, leaving the organizations out over three-quarters of a million dollars.
FlipCause, which provided fundraising and donor management services for small to mid-sized charities, filed for bankruptcy in December after owing $29 million to 3,200 nonprofits across the country. The company owes 53 organizations in Oregon a total of $766,000.
