GFA Games is facing new issues.

As our colleagues at IXBT Games noticed, on May 29, 2026, a petition was filed in the Moscow Arbitration Court demanding the bankruptcy of GFA Games LLC — the Russian legal entity of Pioner’s developers. The petition was submitted by the Federal Tax Service of Russia in the Kirov region.
The exact reasons for the tax service’s decision are unknown. However, it can be assumed that the studio’s significant debt to the national treasury served as the impetus.
