La Garrigue, which first opened in 2001 just off Canongate by chef Jean Michel Gauffre and became a huge success, was once praised by Gordan Ramsay as one of his “best restaurants”.
But the bistro has now filed a petition at Edinburgh Sheriff Court to wind up its operations and entered liquidation amid “difficult trading conditions”.
