A liquidator’s investigation into a prominent labour hire firm that brought Pacific seasonal workers to Australia has found it was in trouble long before it collapsed late last year.
iComply went into liquidation owing more then four million dollars in unpaid superannuation to its Pacific employees and eight million dollars to other creditors.
The liquidator’s report shows the company was in financial trouble as far back as 2021, had problems paying taxes and faced numerous breaches over the treatment of its workers.
Former workers are devastated to hear it’s unlikely they’ve ever be paid their outstanding super.
