Womenswear brand Proud Poppy Clothing is set to emerge out of voluntary administration and ownership will return to founder Tara McKeon after a four-week long restructuring process.
The retailer, known for its colourful and size-inclusive clothing, was placed in voluntary administration in early August, although McKeon was clear at the time that the appointment was not a “not a business shut down, bankruptcy or closure of the overall business”.
Administrators from Hall Chadwick took control of the business and closed three Proud Poppy shops in Shepparton and Gippsland in Victoria, and Wagga Wagga in New South Wales.
