The Australian Securities and Investments Commission will meet with the country’s largest insolvency firms to gauge market risks arising from private credit as it prepares a second review into the sector.
The corporate regulator is holding a roundtable next week with business restructuring and insolvency firms – including Alvarez and Marshal, BDO Australia, EY, FTI Consulting, KPMG and McGrath Nicol – which is the first time it has done so regarding the private credit sector.
