As the wind-up of companies in the former Hawkins construction group draws to a close, liquidators’ reports have revealed the amounts paid by directors John and David McConnell to settle claims they breached their duties.
The complex process featured separate liquidations for the former operating company and other parts of the group, renamed H Construction North Island and Orange H Group.
Liquidators’ reports for group companies filed this week show a second and final distribution to external creditors of $895,075, bringing their payout to $1.5 million or 2.1c in the dollar of the $73.4m in accepted claims.
