Boutique Sydney rum maker Sydney Distilling Co Pty Ltd (Administrators Appointed), trading as Brix Distillers, has entered into Voluntary Administration, appointing Ben Carson and Richard Stone from RSM Australia Partners as Joint and Several Voluntary Administrators on 21 January 2026.
The award-winning business was founded in 2017 and operated Australia’s first dedicated craft rum distillery, with a cellar door and bar in Surry Hills.
