The Kilmarnock-based Rakkaus Furniture produced bespoke “Scandinavian-inspired” made-to-order furniture for offices and other businesses across the country since it was founded in 2017.
According to recent documentation lodged with Companies House, the business’s founder and director, Christopher Arkley, agreed to wind up the company voluntarily following a sustained decline in its orders from customers, which led to unsustainable cashflow pressures.
Michelle Elliot and Calum Carmichael of specialist business advisory firm FRP have been appointed as joint liquidators for Rakkaus Furniture and confirmed there were no employees at the time of their appointment.
