A self-styled Lord and property developer from Bristol has been declared bankrupt.
A bankruptcy order has been made for Lord Houshang Jafari-Najafabdi at Bristol County Court.
The 65-year-old, who lives at Dower House – the famous yellow house which dominates views from the outbound M32 motorway was declared bankrupt earlier this year, it has been revealed.
Mr Jafari, who bought his title, is a well-known property developer in the city and has made national headlines on various occasions in the past.
In 2014 an 18-month legal battled ended after he became legally divorced from his wife Aghas Bidaki, whom he married in Iran in 1978. They went on to have three children.
