In 2023, the government launched 2 support payment schemes to help Victorians. These schemes were to help people who paid amounts towards a new home to a building company that went into liquidation. These included the Porter Davis Homes Customer Support Payment Scheme and Liquidated Builders Customer Support Payment Scheme.
The Liquidated Builders Customer Support Payment Scheme has re-opened and closed at 4 pm on 20 June 2024 (AEST). The scheme now includes builders who went into liquidation between 1 July 2023 and 28 February 2024. More information is available below.
