Questions over the cost and conduct of the Macquarie Greek Studies Foundation’s voluntary administration dominated a tense Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, July 27, as members repeatedly challenged the Deed Administrator before ultimately voting down two key governance reforms.
Held under the Foundation’s Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA), the meeting attracted around 13 members in person and two participating via Zoom. It was chaired by Deed Administrator Timothy Cook of Balance Insolvency rather than the Foundation’s Board, as required under the DOCA.
