A shocking 28 companies have appointed administrators so far this week, according to notices published in The Gazette, the UK’s official public record. The appointments span several sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, renewable energy, property development, retail, biotech and leisure. One notable example is Orbital Express Launch Ltd, a Scottish space‑launch developer which reportedly employed 163 people, and received nearly £77million in public funding.
Another one is Frog Bikes, a children’s bike manufacturer.
