Furniture shop Sichel on Wednesday announced it is closing its shops in Rue Simon Bolivar in Esch-sur-Alzette and the Bourmicht business park in Bertrange after filing for bankruptcy.
According to Sichel’s social networking site, “the challenges we have faced in recent years have had a considerable impact on our business.” As a result, “despite all our efforts and the investment of the entire team, we were ultimately unable to overcome the difficulties to ensure the company’s continued existence.”
