The company, which has a 100,000sq ft site, specialises in tailor-made MDF, plywood, and other laminated or veneered products.
After coming under financial pressure, the company had begun a company voluntary arrangement (CVA) in November 2024.
This allows struggling companies to repay debts over a fixed period while continuing to trade.
On December 3, the company failed to pass on the income tax and national insurance contributions deducted from employees’ wages to HMRC.
This was their third breach which was an “irrecoverable failure” for the CVA.
