A dispute between a liquidator and Pitcher Partners over Titan Interactive’s collapse has continued, with the Federal Court having mulled an injunction against the accounting firm.
Titan liquidator Jennifer Low sought an injunction, or alternatively damages, against Pitcher Partners in the Federal Court of Australia, claiming the firm knew or was involved in the Titan directors’ breaches.
Ms Low alleged Pitcher Partners founder Bryan Hughes, his brother and Titan boss Wayne Hughes, and Titan directors Norman Asch and Ian Thubron breached their duties by failing to stop the company trading while insolvent for years.
