A British demolition company has collapsed into administration after 36 years of business. Albion Jones Ltd, based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, specialises in site clearing services and earthmoving.
The contractor has now appointed James Ronald Alexander Lumb and Howard Smith, of Interpath Advisory, as joint administrators after becoming insolvent. The appointment was reported by the Gazette on Tuesday (March 11) and the administrators will now work to save the firm.
Founded in 1990, Albion Jones provides a range of services, including structural demolition, materials recycling and building wrecking. They also supply aggregates and crushed concrete.
