A UK furniture manufacturer has entered liquidation after operating since 1980. Liquidators have been appointed to Kontoor South Wales Limited during a virtual meeting on February 20, the notice confirms.
The company has entered Creditors Voluntary Liquidation, which happens when management volunteers to wind up the business when it cannot repay its debts to creditors. The move can only be made when 75% of the company’s shareholders agree, according to the UK Insolvency Service.
