A UK family haulage company has dropped into liquidation, with 36 years of experience expected to be lost. Ardens – Tile Farm is a family run site on the outskirts of Chester, Cheshire offering contracting, haulage, storage and more.
From the site runs Ardens Haulage Limited, a transport company specialising in carrying farm produce in bulk. Using its own wagons and dedicated in-house vehicles, the company carries goods in bulk tipper trailers, mainly servicing Liverpool and Manchester.
The trucks are also used to carry raw materials from the processors or the docks to local mills. However, the business appears to have fallen into difficulty, with the London Gazette reporting that liquidators were appointed back on 30 March.
