UPDATE 4 pm – Siren Bar owner Dan Gaul has enlisted the help of Cypher Brewing Co in an effort to honour all bookings made for Valentine’s Day.
The Gungahlin bar and restaurant went into liquidation on Wednesday (11 February) but had still been accepting payment for a “Valentine’s dinner for two”.
Cypher Brewing Co co-founder Jeff Wilson Shipley told Region that Dan had “done a huge amount for Canberra” and had negotiated with the business to make sure couples could still enjoy a meal out together.
