AMERICAN broadcaster CBS has emerged as the buyer of troubled free-to-air television network Channel Ten.
A statement released by receivers and administrators this morning said CBS Corporation has entered into a binding agreement to buy the business and assets of Network Ten.
CBS is currently a key content provider to Ten and operates businesses which span the media and entertainment industries, the statement reads.
