Local veterans have evaded any fallout from the financial troubles being experienced by Returned Services League South Australia.
The state branch has gone into voluntary administration as a result of financial problems.
President of the Port Pirie RSL sub-branch Malcolm Bond was asked whether the situation would affect the local operation and he replied: Not in the slightest.
He said the state branch could seek assistance from the sub-branch, but any request would be taken to the members and they would make a decision.
