The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) Mumbai bench declared former Videocon promoter Venugopal Dhoot bankrupt over ₹12,668 crore in outstanding dues to SBI. Dhoot’s bankruptcy estate will vest with bankruptcy trustee Asish Narayan, who will administer the assets and distribute the recoveries among creditors. NCLT gave Dhoot seven days to disclose his full financial position.
