On paper, Bayer Construct’s financial position appeared solid right up until the end. For the 2025 fiscal year, the vertically integrated construction giant reported consolidated revenue of approximately 238 billion forints (657 million euros) and a net profit of 16.3 billion forints (45 million euros). Nevertheless, at the end of August 2026, the company filed for bankruptcy.
