Severn Trent, one of the few FTSE 100 companies to be led by a woman, has promoted two female executives in a management restructuring which has, however, cost a fourth woman her job on the board.
The water company, led by Liv Garfield, is restructuring its regulated business in to three divisions. Sarah Bentley, the chief customer officer, is to get her own customer delivery department. Brought in by Ms Garfield not long after her own arrival in 2014, Ms Bentley, a former management consultant at Accenture, has been charged with improving Severn Trents customer performance which Ms Garfield said this year was disappointing.
