Yorkshire pub company enters liquidation

A pub operator which owned 18 venues across Yorkshire has entered liquidation.

Victoria Road Pub Management Company was behind sites in the Keighley, Bradford and Leeds areas.

Mark Wilson of RSM Restructuring Advisory was appointed liquidator on 8 December 2016 after the company was hit by an inability to cover debts.

It entered into a creditors’ voluntary liquidation on 23 September with Rushtons Insolvency as liquidator. However, prior to this on 13 September, British Gas Trading had presented a petition to compulsorily wind up Victoria Road.

The High Court issued the order on 7 November and Mark Wilson from RSM was subsequently appointed liquidator.
