The Griffith franchise of Mexican fast-food restaurant Zambrero will remain open and is expected to announce a new owner soon, after the company that was previously running the store was wound up in insolvency in October 2023.
Zambrero Griffith, at 192 Banna Avenue, had been run by a company registered under the name Zambos Griffith Pty Ltd.
According to documents filed with the federal business regulator, the Deputy Commissioner of Taxation launched proceedings in the Federal Court to have this company wound up (to stop trading) on 26 September, 2023.
