There is a specific issue with the Facebook in-app browser intermittently making requests to websites without cookies that had previously been set. If you thought HBO nearing a deal to cast Paapa Essiedu as Snape in their reboot of Harry Potter turned heads last week, wait until you hear this one. Jessie Cave, who portrayed Lavender Brown in the Warner Bros. films, has recently opened up an OnlyFans account, but the catch is you’ll find no sexually explicit content on her page. Just hair… and lots of it.

“I’m going for a very pure aesthetic,” Cave said in an Instagram video posted on March 10 (seen below). “Slutty Mormon.” She’s hoping to attract those folks with a hair fetish (known as trichophilia) to her page, where you’ll find ASMR videos of her combing her long locks, playing with her hair, and doing everything else she can think of to cater to her niche audience. Cave…

Liquidators taking financial control of the failed school lunch programme say it owes money to multiple suppliers and to its 500 staff – but wages will be paid in the interim.

It was the latest in a string of problems that has plagued the government’s revamped lunch programme.

The minister in charge David Seymour previously said leveraging private sector expertise for the scheme would serve up tax payer saving of $130 million a year.

But since its launch, there had been complaints about food quality, plastic in meals, late or no delivery, and dangerously hot meals.

A Food Safety investigation is also currently underway.

PSLF Executive Order And Student Loan Forgiveness Freeze Wreak Havoc On Student Loan Borrowers

Ashley Morgan did everything right. She was among the first in her family to attend college, earning a debate scholarship to cover most of her undergraduate tuition at Baylor University. She worked multiple jobs in graduate school and took on student loans for law school, confident that her clear, well-paying career path would allow her to manage the debt. She wasn’t reckless—she followed the system, relied on the promises of income-driven repayment…

An Otago principal says she is not surprised a school lunch provider has gone into liquidation after the company was only given $3 per meal by the government.

The Libelle Group — one of the three nationwide providers of the new school lunch programme — is being liquidated by Deloitte.

It was contracted to deliver about 125,000 lunches daily by Compass Group New Zealand, including about 25 schools in Otago and Southland and about 5000 students.

East Otago High School principal Helen Newcombe said although her school was part of the programme she was unsure if the Libelle Group provided lunches to her high school.

She had received no communication from the overarching School Lunches Collective.

But she said she was not surprised…

Warburg, Kedaara-backed Perfios buys debt management platform

Perfios CEO Sabyasachi Goswami

Software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Perfios said Tuesday it has acquired debt management and collections platform CreditNirvana, as it seeks to bolster capabilities in collections and debt management.

It didn’t disclose the financial terms of the transaction.

The development comes less than a month after the Bengaluru-based company acquired fraud detection platform Clari5 for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition of CreditNirvana will help Perfios tap into a high-growth market with its full-stack, technology-based approach to debt recovery and collection, where lenders spend billions of dollars every year, the company said in a statement.

“This acquisition is a strategic step in expanding…

You’re fabulous. But your credit card debt is keeping you fabulously broke, and other payment options like “Buy Now, Pay Later” (BNPL) are probably making things worse. Let’s fix that.

Credit card debt in America broke another record last month, with our collective damage now over $1.2 trillion, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s most recent Household Credit and Debt Report found. It’s the seventh time in eight quarters the record has been broken, and since this number doesn’t include any money loaned through BNPL services like Klarna and Afterpay, our actual debt burden from month to month is probably higher.

Debt keeps his boot on our chest month after month, and not in the playful-kinky kind of way. It’s a…

Keir Starmer’s party have allocated £1bn in public funds to support the Manchester football club – five times the funding it has pledged to help find a future for the closing Grangemouth oil refinery.

On Tuesday, Manchester United – which like Grangemouth is part-owned by the billionaire Jim Ratcliffe – unveiled its plans for a new stadium and grounds.

The BBC reported that the news came despite the club owing in excess of £1bn in debt. Chief executive Omar Berrada said he was “quite confident we’ll find a way to finance the stadium”.

The Scottish Greens questioned why the UK Government was handing Ratcliffe’s debt-ridden club £1bn while only allocating £200m for Grangemouth.

MSP Gillian Mackay,…
