Aussies now have started seeing their student debts be cut by 20 per cent. (Source: Facebook/AAP)

Three million Australians will receive a 20 per cent reduction on their HECS and student debt over the next two weeks. The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) started sending out text messages to the first round of 100,000 Aussies notifying them their debt had been cut.

Another 1.5 million Australians will get the same text message this week when the changes are automatically applied. This will be followed by a further 1.5 million people the week after, with an estimated $16 billion in debt to be wiped in total.

With the average HECS debt sitting at around $27,000, Education Minister Jason Clare said the average reduction…

Lucas Biglia has revealed some interesting information on what Zlatan Ibrahimovic said to the idea of AC Milan players taking a pay cut in Covid.

Biglia signed in 2017 as part of a huge summer spending spree in which over €200m was spent. He was meant to be the midfield glue that held everything together, with €20m paid to snatch him from Lazio despite the fact that he was 31 years of age.

It never really worked for Biglia with the Rossoneri as his time was negatively impacted by several injuries. In three seasons with the club, he missed a total of 43 games due to physical problems and he has always been honest about why things didn’t turn out well.

Biglia spoke to Diretta.it (via Calciomercato.com) and he recounted his career as a…

Johannesburg: Poorer nations attending the Group of 20 summit in South Africa have used the meeting to push leaders on climate action and high levels of debt, issues directly affecting the developing world.

The United States boycotted the Johannesburg meeting meant to bring rich and developing nations together over President Donald Trump‘s claims that South Africa is violently…
