The Lakewood-based rooftop tent company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy Wednesday, court documents show.
The company, founded by Blaine Koker-Tatalovich and Josh Frakes-Belair, announced it would close at the end of last month on social media. The company’s revenue declined sharply this year, filings show, with $1.3 million in sales as of the filing date. Last year, the company reported revenue of $3.6 million, up from $2.1 million in 2023.

Hospitality company Sonder has officially filed for bankruptcy following the collapse of its partnership with hotel giant Marriott International.
The San Francisco firm, which operated thousands of short-term rental units, including apartment-style and boutique hotel accommodations around the globe, filed for Chapter 7 liquidation proceedings in federal bankruptcy court in Delaware on Friday.
In a legal filing, Sonder listed its estimated assets as between $1 billion and $10 billion and its estimated liabilities as between $1 billion and $10 billion. It said the company has between 5,001 and 10,000 creditors.

The government continues to offer help to exporters – this time in the form of RBI easing the rules for repayment of debt and credit by exporters. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday issued a set of guidelines to help mitigate the impact of trade disruptions on exports arising due to global headwinds.
