In a release sent Friday morning, the initiative aims to raise enough money for balances across the school district by Thanksgiving.
The efforts to raise money for these children are also to help establish a “Lunch Love Fund,” which would work to “quietly support students who fall behind on lunch payments during the year, preventing lunch debt and lunch shaming,” the release said.
Organized by Amanda Knicely, Knicely states that she is coordinating directly with district food services to ensure all payments are made transparently.

The Supreme Court on Friday transferred the commercial dispute pending before the Chennai bench of National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) to the principal bench in Delhi after a judicial member of the Chennai Bench alleged that he was approached by a retired High Court judge to favour one of the parties to the case.
