A woman has appeared in court accused of fraudulently disposing of property by giving 75,000 to a relative while declared bankrupt.
Barbara Bentley appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Wednesday to deny the charge.
The 59-year-old spoke only to confirm her name andher date of birth, and to enter a not guilty plea.
Bentley, of Yeoman Crescent, Hadleigh, is charged with fraudulent disposal of property by making a gift of 75,000 to her son, while declared bankrupt, on March 13, 2017.
Judge David Pugh entered the case for trial on a two-week warned list to begin during the fortnight commencing July 4 next year.
The trial is expected to last between three and four days at Ipswich Crown Court.

A rise in company insolvencies during the past three months is being seen as evidence that unlocking the economy has not produced the boost businesses were hoping for.
R3, the insolvency and restructuring trade body which covers the South West, said a combination of low consumer confidence and a lack of mobility have hampered the economy despite the easing of anti-Covid restrictions.
It pointed to new figures which showed corporate insolvencies hit their highest quarterly total in 18 months. R3 said the increase is possibly due to some company directors opting to close their businesses before the situation deteriorates further.

About 130 countries have agreed to the World Organization At least Tax, an idea approved by President Joe Biden. The lower tax is part of an international effort to avoid the tax of multinational corporations.
The deal was announced last Thursday. It is an attempt to address the difficulties of the interconnected and growing online global economy.
