SUDBURY — The Northern Ontario School of Medicine has received full accreditation of its MD program. The accredidation review was the first in Canada to be performed via virtual visit due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Robert H. Braver sued Northstar Alarm Services LLC for violating the TCPA by hiring Yodel Technologies which has since declared bankruptcy to place pre-recorded robocalls that advertised Northstar goods and services without recipients’ consent.

Hertz Global Holdings has completed its Chapter 11 restructuring process, the car rental company announced Wednesday.
Hertz’s Chapter 11 exit plan wasapproved by a U.S. bankruptcy courton June 10. Hertz filed for bankruptcy inMay 2020.
Among theplan’s features, Hertzwill eliminate over $5 billion of debt, including all of Hertz Europe’s corporate debt. Hertz also will receive more than $2.2 billion of global liquidity and emerge with a $2.8 billion line of credit consisting of at least $1.3 billion of term loans and a revolving loan facility, and an approximately $7 billion asset-backed vehicle financing facility, both “on favorable terms,” the company said in a statement.

June 29 (Reuters) – Sudan received approval from the International Monetary Fund on Tuesday for relief on more than $56 billion in debt and new IMF funding of $2.5 billion over three years.
