Receivership

Appointed by a secured creditor, a receiver’s primary responsibility is to collect and sell sufficient assets to meet the debt owed to the creditor. A receiver will pay out the funds in the order required by law and reports to ASIC with any possible errors. Receivers are required to report their transactions and findings to ASIC every six months.
