Taunton Area Debt Advice (TADA) expects to see more people seeking help as household bills increase in April.
Water bills in the Wessex Water area will rise from an average annual bill of £556 to £669.
The annual energy bill for a household using an average amount of gas and electricity will increase by £111 per year to £1,849.
Somerset Council has been given permission to raise council tax above the usual five per cent limit, and it is likely to be around 7.5 per cent, which would add another £129 per year for a band D property.
There will also be rises in car tax and TV licences, both £5 per year, and mobile sim-only contracts are scheduled to rise by around £18 per year.
