Glastonbury glampers have been left ticketless and thousands of pounds out of pocket after a luxury yurt company that offered packages worth up to £16,000 went bust.
Yurtel, a glamping firm based in Corsham, Wiltshire, ceased trading on May 8, just weeks before the festival is due to start.
The company offered hospitality tickets and accommodation packages that ranged from £10,000 for a deluxe bell tent to £16,500 for a presidential suite.
But despite dozens of customers taking to social media in devastation, Glastonbury has said Yurtel failed to book any tickets for clients for this year’s festival.
