TV presenter Kate Garraway has reportedly had no other choice to sell her second home as she battles with a £800,000 debt.
In 2024, Garraway revealed she was spending £16,000 a month on care for her husband Derek Draper before he died in January that year at the age of 56 after a lengthy battle with the long-term effects of Covid.
The Good Morning Britain (GMB) presenter said the cost of his basic care exceeded her ITV salary and did not factor in his therapies, the mortgage payments or other household expenses.
Garraway’s second property is located in North London and sold for £1.5 million, according to The Sun.
