The former manager at a Boca Raton company that helps people settle their debts is charged with defrauding more than 20 clients out of nearly $200,000, the police department said.
Marius St. Gerard, 38, was arrested in Clearwater on a warrant late last month following a two-year investigation by Boca Raton Police. He has since been extradited to Palm Beach County, police said in a news release.
St. Gerard was a manager at CLR Admin Services, based in Boca Raton. The company was hired by a law firm, Helbing Law Group, to help its clients condolidate their debts.
