On February 2, 2026, the Delhi High Court instructed Rajpal to surrender after he informed the court of his inability to settle the debt. He subsequently obeyed and was imprisoned in Tihar Jail.
While serving his prison sentence, Sonu Sood openly provided financial help and also enlisted Rajpal for a future project with a nominal fee, encouraging others in the industry to offer their support. Subsequently, Rajpal’s manager disclosed that Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan, and others had stepped up to assist him. The actor has now received interim bail until March 18.
