Some Chattanooga residents owe the city hundreds and even thousands of dollars in delinquent parking citations. A City Council member is proposing an amendment to a new booting enforcement ordinance to help them pay without losing their vehicle.
CARTA’s parking enforcement and consumer protection bill is on track to be passed soon, having received the support of Mayor Tim Kelly and being unanimously approved by the City Council in the first vote by the panel.
