Rivers Casino Pittsburgh paid $2.9 million on April 1 toward the construction expense of PPG Paints Arena, home ice of the National Hockey League’s Pittsburgh Penguins. The Sports & Exhibition Authority of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County and the casino jointly announced that $127.5 million has been funded to date.
