SACRAMENTO, Calif. – California Treasurer Fiona Ma announced her sponsorship of Assembly Bill 2123, the Medical Debt Relief Act of 2026, at a press conference held Monday at the State Capitol.
The legislation is designed to reduce the burden of medical debt for Californians.
